Dear Partner,
Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Happy New Year of Expanded Influence!
The year 2020 was an amazing year of global impact for Freshdew yet God has only just begun with us. He is launching us unto greater spheres of influence this year. Hallelujah!
Recall that in July 2019, it was a huge step of faith we all took to have Freshdew go on daily TV and God has been faithful to provide abundant resources in thousands of US dollars for the monthly payments. Now is the time for Expanded Influence for our growing Circle of Partnership.
Towards the end of the year 2020, at a service in our local church, God declared prophetically by His Spirit that the “Season of Joseph” was here. God spoke about greatness, promotion, expanded influence and abundant provision in this season.
In meditating on this, it became clear that this was a pointer towards His heartbeat for 2021. Greatness, promotion, expanded influence and abundant provision are pivotal as we do the work of an evangelist in season and out of season.
Let’s look at a few Scriptures about Joseph, the great-grandson of Abraham.
3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age. Also he made him a tunic of many colors.4 But when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peaceably to him.
5 Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more.
Genesis 37:3-4 [NKJV]
2 Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brothers. And the lad was with the sons of Bilhah and the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives; and Joseph brought a bad report of them to his father.
Genesis 37:2 [NKJV]
28 Then Midianite traders passed by; so the brothers pulled Joseph up and lifted him out of the pit, and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels of silver. And they took Joseph to Egypt.
Genesis 37:28 [NKJV]
8 But he refused and said to his master’s wife, “Look, my master does not know what is with me in the house, and he has committed all that he has to my hand.
9 There is no one greater in this house than I, nor has he kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?”
10 So it was, as she spoke to Joseph day by day, that he did not heed her, to lie with her or to be with her.
20 Then Joseph’s master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison.
Genesis 39:810 ,20 [NKJV]
22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners who were in the prison; whatever they did there, it was his doing.
Genesis 39:22 [NKJV]
4 And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them; so they were in custody for a while.
Genesis 40:1-4 [NKJV]
1Then it came to pass, at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh had a dream; and behold, he stood by the river.
14 Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him quickly out of the dungeon; and he shaved, changed his clothing, and came to Pharaoh.
Genesis 41:1,14 [NKJV]
17 He sent a man before them –Joseph — who was sold as a slave.
18 They hurt his feet with fetters, He was laid in irons.
19 Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of the LORD tested him.
20 The king sent and released him, The ruler of the people let him go free.
21 He made him lord of his house, And ruler of all his possessions,
22 To bind his princes at his pleasure, And teach his elders wisdom.
Psalms 105:17-22 [NKJV]
33 “Now therefore, let Pharaoh select a discerning and wise man, and set him over the land of Egypt.
34 Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, to collect one-fifth of the produce of the land of Egypt in the seven plentiful years.
39 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you.
40 You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.”
41 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt”.
42 Then Pharaoh took his signet ring off his hand and put it on Joseph’s hand; and he clothed him in garments of fine linen and put a gold chain around his neck.
43 And he had him ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried out before him, “Bow the knee!” So he set him over all the land of Egypt.
Genesis 41:33-34, 39-43 [NKJV]
Partner, I’m sure you can identify with more than one aspect of the CV of Joseph. Look at his CV below:
- – He was a child who had a big dream.
- – He was a son who was dear to his father’s heart.
- – He was a brother whose dreams brought opposition and envy.
- – He was a victim of persecution.
- – He was an epitome of integrity.
- – He was a servant at every opportunity regardless of his discomfort.
- – He was a recipient of timely unmerited divine favour.
- – He was a leader who intentionally cultivated his leadership skills.
- – He was an abundant provider and thus, a solution to the problems of people and palaces.
- – He was a man of expanded influence as he pursued his divine destiny.
This was Joseph’s season, his time, and his kairos moment but it didn’t start “now”. Similarly, this is our season on Freshdew but it didn’t start now! When the fruit is visible is not when the seed was planted.
His dreams revealed not just his greatness but his expanding greatness. His influence went from his father’s house to Potiphar’s house, to the prison yard, and to Pharaoh’s palace from where his influence went global.
This is the signature of God: Greater greatness, increasing increase, unending promotion, abounding abundance, extending borders, and expanding influence.
We see the same pattern in the words of Jesus as He gave the promise of the Spirit to His Church.
4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me;
8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth”.
Acts 1:4,8 NKJV
8 But the Holy Spirit will come upon you and give you power. Then you will tell everyone about Me in Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria, and everywhere in the world”.
Acts 1:8 CEV
8 and yet you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judaea and Samaria and to the remotest parts of the earth.”
Acts 1:8 Weymouth
They were located in Jerusalem but by the power of the Holy Spirit, their influence would easily reach the ends of the earth!
So, again, I am excited to declare that this is the season of Joseph for Freshdew but it didn’t start now.
Partner, our influence is expanding and we will reach everywhere in the world! We will tell everyone about Jesus and about this good God even to the remotest parts of the earth.
Just like Joseph, there is no stagnation in our impact and influence. By a supernatural force, against all odds, we keep expanding.
