Dear Partner,
Happy Resurrection!!!
Christ is RISEN! He is RISEN INDEED!!!
5 And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.
6 But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.
7 But go, tell His disciples and Peter that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.
8 So they went out quickly and fled from the tomb, for they trembled and were amazed. And they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.
Mark 16:5-8 NKJV
5 Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, Why do you seek the living among the dead?
6 He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee,
7 saying,” The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
8 And they remembered His words.
9 Then they returned from the tomb and told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest.
Luke 24:5-9 NKJV
What is the attitude we should have towards the Resurrection? Is it something we look on as a one-time event that happened to Jesus for us? Or is it something that happened to Jesus with us and that we are also partakers of?
1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,
2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,
3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:1 – 10 NKJV
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power
20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places
Ephesians 1:19 – 20 NKJV
We too have a resurrection experience. Indeed we have the resurrected life and we are expected to live it out.Partner what do you know about this your resurrection experience?
• Your Resurrection Experience is tied to what you say
7 But go, tell His disciples and Peter that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.
Mark 16:7 NKJV
6 He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee,
7 saying, The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
8 And they remembered His words.
Luke 24:6-8 NKJV

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
Proverbs 18:21 NKJV
Resurrection is the passing from death to life. If death and life are in the power of your tongue then your tongue must have something to do with your resurrection experience.
It was your tongue that you used to get born again – to pass from death to life positionally. We should speak life continually to enjoy resurrection experientially.
• Your Resurrection Experience is not threatened by the evidence of your past
6 “He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
Matthew 28:6 NKJV
5 Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, Why do you seek the living among the dead?
Luke 24:5 NKJV
1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,
2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,
3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
Ephesians 2:1 – 3 NKJV

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ was according to the working of God’s mighty power. This same power was enough to cause the tomb to disappear so there would be no evidence that He was ever dead. Instead, the angel was proud to show off the tomb! Why? Because it was empty!! Don’t be ashamed of your tombs! Just be proud that they are evidence that you are no longer there!!
In all the appearances of Jesus after the Resurrection, He never went to stay in the tomb. Don’t go back to your tombs to prove anything. The living doesn’t belong among the dead!
• Your Resurrection Experience is good news that should be told quickly
7 “And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.”
8 So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.
Matthew 28:7-8 NKJV
Your resurrection story is good news and it should be told to everyone who cares to listen.
Don’t be shy to testify. Don’t be afraid to testify. The women had fear and great joy. They yielded to the greater. There will always be “fear” when you want to testify. Don’t yield to it. Yield to the great joy instead! I recently testified in a two-part series on Freshdew about my own resurrection experience in the area of my health. I had butterflies in my tummy but my inner witness borne out of rivers of living water within me was greater. Hallelujah!
• Your Resurrection Experience puts you on display
10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me.
Matthew 28:10 NKJV
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:8 – 10 NKJV
There are many Greek words translated “see” in the New Testament.
- Blepo which means simply voluntary observation
- Eido which expresses a mechanical, passive or casual vision
- Theaomai signifies an earnest but more continued inspection
- Skopeo which means a watching from a distance
The word translated “see” in Matthew 28:10 is none of these words but the Greek word optanomai which means to gaze with wide-open eyes as at something remarkable
Remarkable: noteworthy, unusual, singular (one of a kind), strange
To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:
Acts 1:3 NKJV
To be seen there is the Greek word optomai
There are MANY infallible proofs and each time Jesus made an appearance after His Resurrection it was something remarkable to behold.
18 And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever-increasing splendour and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:18 AMP
The more we gaze into the unveiled Word of God, the more like Him, we become. We reflect the glory of the resurrection and become something remarkable to behold! Amen.
