Dear Partner,
“Hello! And Welcome to Freshdew…” Does that sound familiar? Well, Hello and welcome to the month of August in this New Day that is 2019. This Scripture is worth musing and meditating on in this New Day.
3 ‘You have skirted this mountain long enough; turn northward.’ Deuteronomy 2:3 [NKJV]
Wow! The verse says it all. To skirt or compass is to go around, to border.
Enough of going around and around in circles in one spot. It’s time for change – it’s time to move on – It’s time to break the borders, Hallelujah! Are you ready for a change?
The New Day is a season of the Shift. The Shift is to change from one position or gear to another.
First of all, you have to get to the point of dissatisfaction with your present situation. Without dissatisfaction on your part, there can be no change in your life! Your family, your friends, your Christian brothers and sisters, your Pastors and even God may be dissatisfied with what you have been experiencing – but nothing will change until YOU, get truly dissatisfied.
3 ‘You have skirted this mountain long enough; turn northward.’
Deuteronomy 2:3 [NKJV]
You are responsible for how long you have skirted around in one spot, and you are also responsible to turn and make a change. God did not say, “I will help you turn” – YOU TURN. You make the move, you take the first step and you will see that God had already gone ahead of you, and made the way straight and laid abundance on your path but you have to turn.
27 I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him. Ezekiel 21:27 [KJV]
We often focus on the truth that He has overturned everything in your favour. However, the verse also makes it clear that you have to show up and make yourself available to all that He has laid up for you. You may need to turn and shift from where you are facing now in order to make yourself available. You ask, “Which way do I turn?”
3 ‘You have skirted this mountain long enough; turn northward.‘

Turn northward!!! Glory be to God – “North” is very symbolic for us as children of God.
2 Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. Psalms 48:2 [NKJV]
The north is symbolic of the dwelling place of God. You want to know which way to turn – Turn towards the way of the North, turn towards God’s way of doing things.
• Turn north to God’s way of talking – You have spoken “death” for too long. Choose life in your words even in the apparently inconsequential things and you will see life manifest in every area of your life. God’s Word says that death and life are in the power of your tongue – if you believe that, then, train your tongue to respond to that and shift!
• Turn north to God’s way of love – You have allowed hurt and strife and justified offense to cripple you for too long. Choose to forgive those who have hurt you. Forgiveness means you can surely let them go in your heart. If you understand how God’s love operates and that He has shed that same love abroad in your heart, then, you will take steps of faith in love and forgiveness in response to that and shift!
• Turn to God’s way of creating provision – Choose to be like Him and be a giver. Opportunities abound all around you to send seeds on a mission. Your seeds on a mission release God’s provision already available to fulfill your vision. This is not the time to grudgingly pay your tithes and offerings and vows of thanksgiving, etc. This is the time to be like God who gave His only and His best that He might reap a family of special, peculiar people like you and I, and He expects you to resend to that and shift!
• Turn God’s way of health – It’s time to make a decision to begin to trust Jehovah Rapha, your Healer. You have skirted around that health situation you have been living with for too long. You have skirted around trusting human doctors and chemists absolutely with your life for too long. Visiting doctors and chemists is not a sin but they have their limitations, but the stripes of Jesus took care of every possible disease known and unknown to man and divine healing is included in your salvation package! So, turn first of all in your mind and next in your actions, and enjoy
the healing and health that is yours in Christ Jesus.
Do I hear you say, “When do I make this decision to turn northward? Let me pray about it and weigh the pros and cons”. No the time to act is NOW!
Don’t make it a New Year Resolution – Make it a New Day Revelation! Hallelujah!
We are already in the second half of this glorious New Day, 2019.
There is a popular saying in pidgin English amongst Nigerians: “Na de bottom of the soup dey sweet pass!” Or as we women behave, we store up our best clothes in the “bottom box”!
In more spiritual terms: The end of a matter is better than the beginning. Glory Be To God!
Whatever this first half of the year has been like for you – I am here to declare to you that in the weeks and months ahead you can step into the awesome blessings that God has lined up for you in this New Day and it will never run dry! Hallelujah!
Declare: “I AM READY FOR GREATER MANIFESTATIONS OF THE SUPERNATURAL AS I CONTINUE TO TURN IN RESPONSE TO WHAT GOD HAS DONE!
”
