One day as my husband and I were setting out to go to a cyber café to submit an assignment for my online Master’s degree program, I had this prompting to take change of clothes for my baby who was going with us. At the cyber café, while my husband was typing the assignment for me, my son and I stepped out to get some snacks for us. It had just rained so the whole area was flooded. On my way back from getting the snacks, while trying to find a path to place my feet because of the flood, I stretched my foot and stepped into the gutter. My son and I fell into it and we were submerged. Then I heard a voice within me telling me to raise my son up.
Just at the same time, a motorcyclist had just dropped a police officer off at the spot of the incident. The officer reached out for my son after which some people came and pulled me out of the gutter. When I got out, I thought I was dreaming. I checked my son and he was perfectly okay except that he was feeling cold. This was nothing but God’s doing. I took him to the car and changed his clothes and he was okay.
When we got back to the café, I narrated the incident to my husband and we thanked God for His deliverance. At home, he played normally and God used that to let us know that nothing was wrong with him.
Later that day, I listened to the message: “Infallible Proofs (Part 3),” which was preached three months before this incident. In the course of the message, Pastor Nkechi gave a word of knowledge about angelic visitation and intervention.
I thank God that His Word was in operation because this proved true in my case three months after it was spoken. Hallelujah!
