On July 2, precisely sixteen days after my last menstrual cycle, I started bleeding again. It happened suddenly, with no sign, I was so unhappy about it, but I worshiped God and kept declaring the Word from Isaiah 53:5 and Proverbs 23:18. I received a word that this was a mirage. I planned to visit a gynaecologist but I decided otherwise. So, I decided to trust God while meditating on my rhema word and the bleeding stopped.
Two weeks later, the bleeding started again and this time I panicked. While still meditating on the Word of God in Isaiah, I decided to visit a gynecologist and was placed on some drugs but I refused and requested to do an ultrasound scan. The result was fine except for a little cyst, which the doctor said was not the cause of the bleeding. So, I went home happy that it was not my worst fear.
Still declaring the Word for my healing, the bleeding began again two weeks later. This time, I called the church office feeling totally tired and spent, and requested for an appointment to see Pastor Nkechi. Still declaring the Word of God however frantically now, because I felt I had become the woman with an issue of blood. I had faith that even the woman with the issue of blood got her healing, so mine would not be different.
I immediately remembered the message on Building Memorials And Celebrating Milestones. I broke bread thanking God for what he had already done for me. The bleeding was quite scanty and lasted for just two days and stopped. By Monday when the church office asked me to call back to see if my appointment had been confirmed, I knew there was no need to see Pastor Nkechi since it was already a testimony I would share with her. The cycle normalized after then.
I thank God for bringing me into this church with true pastors, where the Word of God is being taught with no bias; and also for hearing from God. Indeed one person in TCC is like ten thousand men. God is here!
